Description

Sitting in a system of caverns near the base of Mount Coraiel is a statue of a Miaron. It has been there longer than living memory, and the Miarons living at the peak are very hushed up about it. It's a tradition to decorate it every year for Aurikor Somalis, the Solstice of the Lich, although some parents don't let their children go near the statue because of it's creepy and chilling aura. It's a perfect Miaron, and legend says that it is actually the body of Aurich, the calamity from 1000 years ago, but that couldn't be right.... could it?

A new Muse holiday is here! :dummy: You are now able to decorate the Statue!

:star: To decorate: Comment below with a link to art, writing, or just an RP post of your sentient Muse character (ex, Highflyer/WinDKing/Nightling/Miaron/Cheshire/Fawke) placing a decoration on the statue. BE VERY SURE TO DESCRIBE THE DECORATION IN DETAIL, AND WHERE IT GOES!

Have fun. 8D (and also keep in mind this statue is twenty six feet tall.)

:star:AND FROM OTTSEL HERSELF: The goal is to make him look as non-threatening as possible through making him funny! This means fake moustaches, ribbons, anything giggle-worthy!:star:

(I figure I'll decorate it too :))

Amara walked up to the large statue, staring in awe. "So this is the statue you were talking about huh Max?" She turned, looking over to her Miaron partner. "Yes. This is it." He murmured. Amara looked over, curious as to why her friend was so nervous. With a shake of his head, she brushed the though off. "The locals decorate it?" Amara questioned, pointing to items that have been placed around and on the statue. "That is true. Did you want to decorate it at all?" Max asked, leaning his head down by the Highflyer. There was a small pause as the girl thought quietly. Finally she stated simply, "I don't know if we have anything that would be big enough..." Another pause. "Well...there is something that we have that would work." Max hummed. "Like?" The Miaron averted his gaze from the curious girl next to him. "Oh I don't know....maybe....that one scarf that your mother made?" Amara stopped to think a moment. "You mean the one you don't really like to wear because you think it makes you look silly?" Max nodded and gave a swish of his tail. "Yeah. I won't have to wear it and it'll have a good home." Amara smiled and reached over to pet her partner's leg. "Okay. I'm sure that Mom won't mind."

A little while later, the pair returned, this time, a large light blue scarf with light purple stripes in tow. "Shall we?" Amara asked, pulling herself up onto Max's back. "Yeah." Max then flew into the air, slinging the large scarf over the neck of the statue, and with care, tied it snugly. Moving a bit back to admire their work, the duo then landed back down on the ground, their mission complete. As they began to head back home, Amara gave a small chuckle, catching the Miaron's interest. "What?" He asked. "Oh nothing much....but I think I know what Mom will have for you this winter." She gave another chuckle as Max rolled his eyes. "Yeah...although I'll bet she'll make it pink this time."
